The social impact of our business is very important to us; we collect used grinds from our customers to transform back into energy that powers our roaster and all our products are now 100% PLASTIC FREE!

Over the last eight years we’ve grown from an idea into a successful business, serving the world, cup by cup, with exceptional tea and coffee that’s sustainably sourced and packaged.

Not one to rest on our laurels, we’ve recently invested £1.5 million into a new, state-of-the-art factory, capable of producing over a million tea bags per day, but as a local family business, we take ethics seriously; whether it’s ensuring our staff are in the best environment or that the coffee pickers in Guatemala are being treated fairly, it all counts and now all of our products are Fairtrade, Rain Forest Alliance or Ethical Trade Initiative certified.

This new factory is now organic certified, and the team have recently gained their SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) certification, enabling us to manufacture teas for other high-street brands.

Recently introduced, Cornish Tea’s clever ‘Fusion Bags’ are bio-mas bags made from 100% bio-degradable corn starch, degrading in just two months and have been certified with an Organic Status!
The pyramid shape allows the carefully curated, larger cut leaves room to brew, resulting in a more flavourful experience.

Our Cornish family business is built on strong social and professional ethics which result in quality products, fantastic customer service and excellent value for money.
