Strong brews. Big ideas. Proper Cornish spirit.

That’s how Cornish Tea and Coffee began - and it’s how we still do things today.

Where It Started

Like all good things, it started with a simple idea

In 2012, Duncan Bond had a chat with his sister-in-law, who was looking for a proper local tea - and realised there wasn’t one. Six months later, the first box of Cornish Tea was packed: bold, bright, and orange. Smugglers Brew was our first and only product at the time, but it hit the spot - and that one brew set everything in motion.

Where We Are Now

What started around a kitchen table has grown into a full-blown family business, with more products, more people, and a factory right here in Cornwall.

We now make all our own tea and coffee in-house - including one of the UK’s first plastic-free tea bags - and our range keeps growing. With over 50 products and a team of 30+ brilliant Cornish staff, we’re proud to do things our way: with honesty, energy, and a lot of strong cups of tea.

Where We’re Going

The goal? To keep making great-tasting, everyday products you’ll reach for again and again.

We’re proud to be pushing boundaries on sustainability too - from plastic-free tea bags to future-friendly packaging - because we’re not just thinking about today, but tomorrow’s tea drinkers as well.

Cornish Tea & Coffee keeps growing - from artisan cafés and five-star hotels to kitchens across the UK (and beyond).

Where next? We’ll let the brew lead the way.
