On Sunday 5th March Cornwall unites to celebrate St Piran's Day. A day that's said to been observed since 1764, St Piran became one of the patron saints of Cornwall after having discovered tin.
Today we enjoy St Piran's Day as a chance to celebrate our Cornish roots and heritage, plus we couldn't miss out on the chance to enjoy a Cornish Pasty or two! St Piran's Day also gives us a chance to indulge in a cream tea , pasty, saffron bun, anything Cornish in fact!
